He recently thought it would be great to teach the girls about Steven King's The Shining. I remember when I was pregnant that he was terribly excited to dress them up as the twin girls that Danny sees in the hallway. He also expressed tremendous delight at the prospect of freaking them out when their teeth fell out by putting dried pieces of corn on their pillows and screaming that they'd lost all their teeth. He thought that would be funny. Strange, huh?
Okay, so back to The Shining. They now can curl their index fingers and growl "Red Rum, Red Rum!" Dave is delighted. I think it's beyond bizarre. So this weekend during lunch, Taylor had just tried to scare me and then began to sing, SING "Red Rum, Red Rum, Red Rum," for about 5 minutes! Grrrrreat.
Thanks to Dave for helping the girls develop their weird side. I kind of thought it would be me, but Dave has me beat for a long time with this one.
